And without noticing, you find yourself in a competition that never made sense.

I’m not better than you. You’re not better than me.
We’re walking completely different stories, with our own pace, challenges, and context.
Comparing ourselves means forgetting all of that. It’s ignoring the road we’ve walked, the fears we’ve overcome, the decisions we’ve made.
It’s measuring something deep with a shallow scale.

The only meaningful comparison is with yourself.
Who were you a year ago? What did you learn this month? What did you do differently today?

I try to practice that kind of progress every day.
Not out of pressure, but because growing excites me.
And because I believe that sharing that process even the messy parts might inspire or help someone else.

That’s what I’m doing here. On this blog. In every post.
Building out loud. Reflecting in public.
And if you’re on a similar path, I’m glad we found each other.

Comparing yourself to others is easy.
But comparing yourself to your past self, that’s where true awareness begins.

If you’re also on this journey, building something of your own, started living abroad, or just trying to grow at your own pace, let's share this together
